Mixed Media

Made entirely from plastic straws and their wrappings, this piece explores the intersection of art and climate activism. Inspired by a discussion in my Geography of the Arctic course, I created a fragmented globe being passed from a woman to a child—symbolizing the fragile state of our planet and the environmental consequences future generations will inherit. Through layered materials and intentional imagery, this artwork serves as both a warning and a call to action.
