Social Action

Reflect on Reality is a social action project that I co-collaborated with another Augustana student, Sarah Welker. We wanted to emphasize the power of words by transforming college students’ most personal and painful experiences into a powerful visual narrative. Through anonymous prompts, participants were invited to share their unspoken thoughts and vulnerability. Responses were collected via a physical prompt box or an online form, then transformed into graphic posters distributed across campus. This initiative fosters deeper empathy, encourages meaningful conversations, and reminds us that we are never truly alone in our struggles.
